  • Angela Hughes

Angela graduated from Auckland University having majored in Education and Psychology. Raised in a Christian family, called to ministry as a child, and freshly impacted by the worldwide outpouring, she joined the revival in Pensacola, and now holds an Associate of Arts degree in Practical Ministry from BRSM. She returned to New Zealand where she was an Associate Pastor on the team at Takapuna A/G (now Harbourside Church). Later she gained an MA in Intercultural Studies from Asia Pacific Theological Seminary. She is also ordained and credentialed with Iris Ministries. Angela's desire is to love like God does leading people to encounter his heart. Her ministry is also strongly marked by her deep love for children, but even more so by the mandate that was given to her by God, to create an atmosphere where my Holy Spirit can move.

Angela dreams of a seeing an army of revivalists, children and adults, bringing in the greatest harvest ever seen, because they know their God, operate in signs, wonders and healings, carrying His heart through all nations on earth.

  • Yasmin Hughes

Yasmin was born in New Zealand but has spent more than half of her life outside the country. At the age of 5 & 6 she lived in Pensacola and was immersed in the revival culture of Brownsville. This set the stage for her hunger to follow God's presence and purpose and has had a heart for people since then.

She is pursuing her passion in photography, music and ministry and has completed a distance internship with Sound of the Nations, in the USA. Her desire is to use art and music to bring the love of Jesus to everyone she meets and help reveal who God really is.

  • Weymond and Gill Fong

Weymond and Gill have been married for 38 years and have two married daughters, Jessie and Stephanie.   Weymond taught High School Mathematics for 15 years until their recent move to join the ‘His Heart’ team in the Philippines.

Gill previously worked at World Vision of NZ for 9 years, before she and Weymond moved to Hong Kong in the mid 80’s.   They worked for 10 years there for St Stephen’s Society, ministering to drug addicts and their families.  After returning to New Zealand, they went on regular trips to share in churches in the Philippines and Asia and during this time were also involved in the Vineyard Church in NZ, particularly in pastoral and teaching roles within the church and in their home group. They were also regular visitors to ‘His Heart’ two or three times a year during school holidays, often bringing teams with them.

More than anything, Weymond and Gill love seeing people finding hope and healing through coming to know Jesus.  They enjoy coming alongside people and have a deep desire to see people equipped and empowered for ministry and mission

  • Becs Kristensen

Becs is from Auckland, and has a passion for seeing people come into a deep relationship with Jesus. After finishing her University studies in Forensic Science, she heard about His Heart Ministries, and five weeks after meeting Angela and Yasmin, she was on a plane to Manila.

Becs loves ministering with the children and the youth, and seeing them grow into who Jesus made them to be. She loves seeing Jesus put lives back together, and people rising up and ministering to others.

Whether it's dressing a wound on the foot of a street-kid, or leading a house church, Becs is there, showing love to God's precious people.

  • Peter and Helen Brown

Peter & Helen are from Hamilton, New Zealand. They were married in 1991 at the Takapuna A/G church where they knew Ps. Wayne Hughes and family. Hearing Heidi Baker speak in 2010 was a transitional weekend which led to visiting Bethel Church in Redding. Later they went on a Global Awakening International Ministry Trip to Taiwan and Cambodia experiencing God’s amazing healing power and love flow through them. While visiting His Heart in Oct 2014 they loved working among the Filipino people and are excited about what God is doing through this ministry.

Peter graduated from A/G Bible College in Auckland in 1990. He has experience in sound engineering, telecommunications and ICT support where he worked for 20+ years. Peter loves to see people being saved, healed, set free and restored into the Father’s loving embrace. Then being filled with the Holy Spirit and power for the journey into their unique destinies as sons and daughters of God.

Helen developed a heart for helping people while on DTS with YWAM in 1988. Her background in teaching English language to adult migrants and refugees, and teaching children in Christian Preschools reflect her heart for children and people of many cultures. Helen enjoys ministering God's love and healing power, also seeing people equipped and empowered to fulfil the purposes God has for them. Helen is a graduate of Eastwest College of Intercultural Studies.

  • Sunshine Fawagan

Sunshine was one of the first children we ministered to in the park in Baguio.  It was obvious way back then that God had something amazing for this beautiful treasure in the dust.

He truly has taken her from the ash heap and seated her with Him on a throne of honor. He has captured her heart and she now serves with us full-time. Sunshine carries an obvious heart of compassion for the broken and desperate. Creative, passionate and with a great gift to lead children as well as adults, she is a valuable member of the team.
